I am a veterinarian working as an Animal and Veterinary Public Health Officer at the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) in Rome, Italy. In my former jobs as lecturer at the Veterinary Faculties in Zambia, Mozambique and the Netherlands I have had a special interest in introducing innovative teaching and learning methodologies. Presently I would like to explore the Open Space Technology to discuss in a large forum issues related to livestock service delivery and poverty reduction. As the aim is to get a large group of persons around the world brainstorming and discussing I would be specifically interested to see if the Open Space Technology can be applied in a virtual setting (via the Internet and e-mail) including the participation of groups with limited internet connection. I would be very interested to exchange information and experiences on these aspects. My e-mail: Katinka.deBalogh@fao.org
