No, if the space is really open, it's not! Many have attempted to control the space by controling the vocabulary but they normally fail. Fahrenheit 451, was a good example of such an attempt. Having lived in a fascist country during part of my life, I can assure that the major part of the "previous control" of the press was to avoid some terms, that were not accepted by the regime. Eventually, those words are still in use but fortunatelly the regime is not - ArtSilva
