Convener: Tod Sloan (Theodor)

This session was intended to invite us to reflect on how, as we make our own communities more resilient and sustainable, can we also enter into wise (self-organizing) actions that will address the ongoing suffering, poverty, and illness of one third of humanity.

One other person showed up. We exchanged ideas about the importance of transferring technologies related to local sustainability, organic farming, etc.

Question for all of us: Why do we tend to feel more responsibility for future generations than for those who share the planet with us now?
