A troll is an internet user that posts messages which deliberately degenerate the quality of discussion. They may post numerous and often contradictory messages aiming to entice newbies into a heated discussion. Typical trollic posts will contain killer phrases and lack real supporting evidence. An electronic mail message, Usenet posting or other (electronic) communication which is intentionally incorrect, but not overtly controversial (compare flame bait), or the act of sending such a message.
