At 49 in 2004, I took a leap of faith and left a ‘secure?!’ corporate career to embark on my Grand Adventure of Life. I've never looked back. When I discovered World Café (Sharon Joy Kleitsch), Art of Hosting (Tenneson Woolf, and Teresa Posakony) and most recently Open Space Technology in Ottawa with Diane Gibault, I knew it was time to take the deep dive with all its chaos, risks and rewards. So here I am, a kid again looking forward to fun times at Sleeping Lady. Can’t wait to meet y’all.

Tell us about a meaningful experience you have had with self-organizing and/or ways you are engaging with new forms of leadership and organization.: I have had glimpses of shared leadership in my career. Intuitively, I saw the magic; now I embrace the future knowing there is a process. In our new company at NuFocus? Strategic Group, which is a community of consultants trying to live self-organizing and shared leadership, we are passionate about "being" and sharing what we "do" and "know" with our clients

When you think about leadership in a self-organizing world, what questions are cooking you? What do you hope to learn at this gathering?: To thrive in a self-organizing world, I need to HEAR more and DUMP my EGO so I can fully Engage with Passion and Action for what I am meant to be and do. By being vulnerable, I hope to benefit from the wisdom of others while also bolstering my courage for what awaits.
