Bill and Barbara Paterson, who are based in Waukegan, IL and who we know through Steven Werlin, are heading up the Learning For Change journal. Twice each year a simple hard copy and electronic version of Learning For Change will come out, featuring articles and news submitted by people in our evergrowing informal network.
The name Learning For Change comes from the Haitian Creole bulletin that colleagues Eddy Sterling and Jude Appolon began several years ago. Every couple of months members of our network receive hard copies of a one double-sided page nicely written and presented with news and articles from members of the Port-au-Prince-based network of Open Space, Reflection Circle and CLE (Concentrated Language Encounter) practitioners. Eddy and Jude also make sure that the content of these bullitens is on this website. Presently, there are 17 issues at AprannpouChanje, which literally means, Learning For Change.
We are indebted to Eddy and Jude for the invaluable service they have provided our learning community. The bulliten they created facilitates learning and exchange and provides us with an example of a means to nurture and support our community. We are grateful as well for the way in which Eddy and Jude have encouraged the creation of the english Learning For Change, which will surely help us to grow and enrich our networks.
Finally, we are indebted to Bill and Barbara for being a part of our network and for providing us with this incredibly important service. Were it not for Bill and Barbara, this Learning For Change idea would not be undertaken.
