I seek the close life/work companionship of other folks who are passionate and equanimous, and engaged in work that has qualities - systemic, deeply-rooted, structural, culture/consciousness-changing, large-scale, ?? - that make for the most powerful change possible. I'm on the board of the Co-Intelligence Institute, and actively networking among Nonviolent Communication folks and others interested in systemic change.

Tell us about a meaningful experience you have had with self-organizing and/or ways you are engaging with new forms of leadership and organization:
On the large scale, there's the Internet of course. On a smaller scale, someone who recently facilitated an all-day retreat at the co-op i live in appreciated that we had a way of finding where the energy was and allowing it (or pushing it :-) to emerge. I've been in many groups that manage to do this without a lot of formal process; it can be pretty magical.
When you think about leadership in a self-organizing world, what questions are cooking you? What do you hope to learn at this gathering?:
How do we get more of the people who are already part of this movement to see and act like they are all part of the same movement?
