The [email@example.com paper] was developed after soliciting input form all instructional councils across our 10 college system in an effort to "re-define" what learning means at Maricopa. An [open letter] was sent to all Maricopa employees to inviote them to join a series of Open Space Forums to reflect on the paper.
The OST format was very effective in these sessions and modified versions were used in future activities including [Dynamic Discussions] at our 2000 Faculty Convcation, where OST was used to brainstorm
A slightly different version which we called "Cafe Discussions" for brainstorming were used at our Ocotillo instructional tecgnology retreats in  and . This format was effective to move a large group of peopke through a series of issues in a short period of time.
