TO A WIKI WEEKEND - JANUARY 17 & 18, 2004:
We would like to build an interactive database on Open Space applications in education. While the wiki space is already open and waiting for your stories, the weekend of January 17-18 is intended to be a focused time for our real time interaction. Will you help the Community create an archive of case studies/ stories/experiences involving Open Space and education?
Our objectives are twofold:
1. Improve our practice as facilitators by learning from the experience of others who have used OST in education.
2. Create a rich resource for future sponsors to visit and understand the benefits of using Open Space in education.

We invite you to add stories, comment, ask questions. While it will be launched officially in real-time on the weekend of January 17 &18, it is already open, and it will remain open indefinitely for you to post new experiences and comment on old ones. In this way, our Open Space in Education wiki will remain live for the use of practitioners, educationalists and any other stakeholders in education, such as students and parents.

A WIKI SITE FOR OST APPLICATIONS IN EDUCATION

Ward Cunningham created wiki web sites to find the easiest and simplest way for people to make and use on-line databases. We have tried, in turn, to make the process of working with Open Space in Education wiki as simple as possible.
Please follow this step-by-step guided walk through wiki-wiki-land.
How to enter your case study:
1. Click the 'edit' link at the bottom of any page FROM which you want to link
2. Make a 'wiki word' by typing two or more capital letters and no spaces, like ImagineChicago?? or OpenSpaceTechnology?.
3. Click the 'save' button. Notice the '?' at the end of the wiki word you created.
4. Click the question mark... a new edit page will come up and you'll be able to paste or type in the text you want to appear on that new page.
5. Once you save that editing, the question mark will be removed and your wiki word will show up as a link to your new page.
How to comment or edit an existing case study:
1. Click the ‘edit’ link at the bottom of the page in which you’d like to add your comment to.
2. Type your comments where you wish for them to show up
3. Click on the ‘save’ button at the bottom of the page. Voila, your comments will be inserted to the wiki page. If, in your comments, you wish to add a new page, follow the instructions above.
